A record entry of 48 players created 12 fiercely-contested 4 ball better-ball matches : winter maintenance work on the course resulted in disappointing playing conditions,however the Captain’s Team avenged the 2024 drubbing with a concise victory by 9.5 points to 2.5.: pictured below is a delighted Captain Jon Cornish receiving the trophy from a suitably subdued (but honourable in defeat) President.
